knitter's pride karbonz dpns review & more

So here we have a new pair of socks.  I am crazy about making socks this time and it is part of my fun.  Probably next month I will be making my own pattern, as I have focus on what I want.  I will need to test it and see how it comes along.  It is inspired by the fact that I have been making The Brethren Sock.  I asked   Millard Fontenot if he minded the inspirational pattern and I got a green light.  Thank my Brethren.

So here you see my newest acquisition in dpns (double pointed needles). These are Karbonz by Knitter's Pride.  They are carbon fiber as I understand it and the feel very nice to the touch.  I have not felt that they are week or that the points will come out.  They are not slick, yet they are not really grabby. To quote "A revolutionary product!! New-age needles made from High-Tech carbon fiber with tips in nickel plated brass!"  They come in  sizes from 1.0 mm to 6.0 mm I have to agree with this assessment.  These are great dpns and at a great price when you consider the alternatives out there for people like me.  What do I mean?  I tend to bend or break dpns, no kidding.  I give them 2 thumbs up.  From now on when I purchase dpns, I will have to consider these babies for sure.   Hope you like my review and my work in progress, thanks for stopping by!
