Just dropping a note. I started the second pair of Kilt hose. I really want to learn how to make socks that are custom shaped. I am learning a lot as I go. This wool is over spun yarn I got from Knit Picks a while ago, it will be very sturdy. It knits a bit quicker with less repetitions and of course less knitting, The cuff is wider and I like the way it fits over the top of my calf. I may need a garter, or I may not.
