The Picons are a sock pattern based on Marlowe Crawford's Newland. I actually was able to double the yarn on the heel flap and the turning of the heel, I also double the yarn at the toe. I was very surprised to find that I liked the xtra cushion from the heel and the toe. I used a different yarn to double up on the tow, but not so different that it did not go along with the colorway. I may have re - discovered my love for socks with a cushioned heel and a cushioned toe. Thanks for stopping by!
