Klingon Honor Kilt Hose

They are not Klingon, but given the pointy sticks that I am using, they look more like pain sticks of the Klingon kind.   These Sock is very comfortable and it only took 75 grams of the 100 grams from the skein.  I used Cascade Heritage yarn.  I did not do the heel flap reinforced, but I did make it with US 0 , 2mm dpns , picked up the gusset and decreased, continued the body on size 0.  This made a big difference in the way the fit my foot, I  must use the cliche, fits my foot like a glove. The pattern was modified and I learned a lot about how I knit which is the main purpose of the Knit Along or KAL.  I always tell  people to observe the way the crochet or knit to learn what to do.  I casted on the second cuff using a circular needle, and instead of starting with the Round with a cable, I started with a plain Round. It is a lot easier to graft a non cable Round. This is the best fitting sock I have ever made in my life, and I am hoping to make some more. Thanks for stopping by!
