I am hoping that this blog will help you and me experience the craft of crochet as well as knitting. During times of silence or turmoil, crochet and knitting continuously help me quiet my mind at my own pace, enabling me to find my center. I have patterns for sale in PDF Format, you can find them at their own Pages at the top menu. The posts are classified By labels which are at the far right, all the way down. We are the Borg! I think it will bring Order into Chaos!

Caprica Sock Leg (WIP)

Hi everyone and Happy Friday. Here is the work in progress (WIP) for Friday. I am at 7 inches or 18 cm in my leg work. I still can go another 2.5 cm , but I am thinking about it, because there comes the heel flap.

I have been very excited about this sock, because Marlowe Crawford gifted it to us, and it is something for the Men Who Knit Retreat to have in common. I will take you along with me as I construct the sock. This sock is different from anything I have done in the past. It starts with a double strand cast on, which means you have two strands of yarn for the long tail cast on as a tail. It is suppose to make a stretchier, more sturdy, edge and it does. Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!
