E Zimmerman Adult Surprise Jacket Cast On!

In the beginning there is yarn and I have lots of left over Wool and silk yarn and it may end up being a Harry Potter Style Cardigan lol! Nevertheless with the lot of nice hand dyed wool and some of this Sari Silk Yarn, I believe this is the perfect project for all these yarns. I also have some yarn from knitpicks and some wonderful Lamb's Pride.
*
My notes are important , because it is my understanding of my personal Pattern:
*
Notes :
This notes will make sense to others who follow these Patterns, but you have to make your own numbers make sense. I am testing the Harmony Options needles # 8 US and a 60 inch cable, front Knit Picks.
*
1. My Jacket is 21 inches wide, my gauge is 6 stitches per inch. 21 * 6 = 126.
*
2. K = 126/3 =42
*
3. Total Cast on # Stitches is 9 * K 0r 9*42 = 378 stitches.
*
4. Putting my markers around A and B Stitch Points which are at 2 * K from each end or 84 stitches from either end.
*
5. Continue until I am have decreased 84 Stitches on each End and have 210 in the middle, then I start to M 1 on each side of the Marked Stitch. This will reverse the angle .
*
6. When there is a total of 378 stitches again, we are at the neck sides.
*
IT WILL BE CONTINUED!

I am also in the Summer Of Socks 2008 KAL and making my what I call the Taurean Sock which if I am lucky I will be done this week with sock number one. Thanks for stopping by!
